Data Deletion

You can ask us to delete the data Typing Safari holds about you at any time. This page explains how, depending on how you use the Service. For the full picture of what we collect, see our Privacy Policy.

If you signed in (adult, teacher, or parent)

To delete your account and the data associated with it — your profile (name/email, or the basic profile from Google sign-in) and your typing activity (progress, sessions, results) — email us at privacy@typingsafari.com from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my data”. We’ll verify your request and delete your account and associated personal data within 30 days.

Roster members (students / family members)

If you were added to a school, camp, or family group, your records (a display name, an optional identifier, and typing activity) are managed by that group’s administrator. To have them removed:

• Ask your school / group administrator to remove you from the roster — doing so deletes your member record and associated activity, or
• Email us at privacy@typingsafari.com and we will work with your group administrator to delete your data within 30 days.

If you signed in with Google

You can revoke Typing Safari’s access to your Google account at any time under Google Account → Security → Third-party access, which stops future sign-ins. To also delete the data we already hold, email us at privacy@typingsafari.com with the subject “Delete my data” and we will complete the deletion within 30 days.

What deletion covers

• Your account/profile and any sign-in identifiers.
• Your typing activity — progress, practice sessions, speed tests, game results, and leaderboard entries.
• Any custom practice text tied to your account.

We may retain a minimal record where required by law (for example, to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes); such records are kept no longer than necessary and are not used for any other purpose.
